Avery's QTH - In which Avery finds out that antennas rule and amplifiers droolWelcome once again to my humble QTH: We keep getting phone calls, emails, and even people stopping by with questions on using a final amplifier on the HF bands from many of the newer just licensed amateurs. We even have had some old timers asking similar questions. How do I connect my amplifier to my rig? What is the best one for the dollar? Will this brand amplifier work with the rig I have? You get the idea! I usually reply, “Why do you even want an amplifier?”
