Governors around the country recognize Amateur Radio Field DayGovernors around the United States have been recognizing Amateur Radio Field Day and the work done by ham radio operators in support of public service. Proclamations have been issued in a number of states, according to ARRL, which sponsors the nation event. Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty has issued a proclamation for Amateur Radio Operator Recognition Days for the Field Day weekend.
