Handiham Members Only Login

The Handiham remote base station is a members-only service. You must be a registered user in order to operate the transmitter. However, guest privileges for the receiver are available.  

Log on as a GUEST with Password =1234. You will only have 5 min of dedicated time to tune around the ham bands for each session. After that you may continue to operate but registered users can take over the radio.

You may also access the radio in receive mode by using Echolink. Search for W0EQO using the Echolink search function. When you connect to this node in Echolink, you activate the transmitter in receive mode automatically. By typing a desired frequency in the text box and pressing the enter key, you can change the frequency of the receiver. For example, if you type 10 <enter>, the frequency will change to 10 MHz and you should hear WWV. 

The mode is changed by typing A for AM, U for upper side band, L for lower side band, etc.

Transmitting in Echolink is not permitted. Additionally, a registered user always has priority control over the station via the W4MQ software. Up to five Echolink users at a time are permitted. If someone is already connected on Echolink, please be polite and let them control the frequency.
